1914 Buick Model B24 2 Seat Roadster 

    When the Buick Motor Company was founded by David Dunbar Buick in May 1903, he knew even them that America was a nation of mobility.  As a Scottish immigrant who was a successful plumbing inventor, he had the vision of a nation in motion and he wanted to be part of that growth and history. 

     

    In 1907 the Model D was produced as its first 4-cyclinder car and the rest is automotive history.  VINTAGE VALUE GROUP is well known for the sale and procurement of high value historic automobiles.  We are especially proud to offer one of the most rare and beautiful vintage automobiles ever to enter our facility.  facility. 

     This 1914 Model B24 Buick 2 seat roadster is in a class by it self.  It is the first to feature left hand drive and there are only 36 of the 3,126 produced that can be accounted for today. There are only 4 other B24 models in restored and driving condition like this one in the world.  One is in Australia, another 2 in California and Utah and the forth in Texas.  This gem is therefore one of five known to exist in driving condition in the world.  A collector’s dream, this car has been restored over the past 5 years all by hand. The many awards it had won speak highly of its quality and workmanship.  The restoration is original and it is obvious from the photos that the a lot of care was invested into preserving this American motoring masterpiece.

 

    Powered by a 4 cylinder 22HP 105” W.B. engine, its features exposed valves.  It weighs 2200 pounds and originally cost $950.00, making it one of the high end cars of its day. This preserved automotive artwork is a start-drive-and-show vehicle.  Its current owner has collected many pieces of history that goes with the car and has a complete biography to hand over to the proud, lucky, new owner.

All vehicles presented by Vintage Value Group are sold AS IS.  Vintage Value Group provides a thorough service to verify the data and performance of all vehicles presented for sale/auction.  However, we strongly recommend that bidders/buyers should have the vehicles inspected by a qualified service or individual before the closing of the transaction.  We will take several hundred photos of each vehicle and additional photos can be requested at anytime during the sale/auction via email.  Once the auction is closed, the sale/auction is final and the sales contract is final.  VVG offers no warranty or guarantee outside of the features listed on each auction/advertisement page.  It is the express responsibility of the buyer to inspect and verify the property that is offered.
